DESCRIPTION:Speakers: John Galambos  and Graeme Murdoch\n\nThe Spallation
  Neutron Source has two major upgrade projects initiated. The Proton Power
  Upgrade (PPU) project will double the accelerator power\, and the Second 
 Target Station (STS) project will provide a new instrument station and ini
 tial instrument suite with unprecedented long wavelength peak brightness n
 eutrons. PPU is in the second year of line-item funding and is working tow
 ards approval to start construction. FY19 is the first year of STS line it
 em support and is preparing a conceptual design. The general approaches fo
 r the various systems in each project will be outlined\, with a look forwa
