Neutron Scattering and Electrochemistry Workshop

US/Eastern
Luke Heroux (ORNL-Neutron Sciences), Hanyu Wang
Description

This 1 ½ day workshop will bring together the community of researchers interested in combining neutron scattering and solution electrochemistry. Focused on the continued trend of researching fundamental changes in soft materials for electron transfer and storage, the topics will discuss both bulk and surface morphology measurements. Oral presentations and a poster session will present opportunities to discuss applications, recent advancements, and end goals, as well as current and future techniques. Additionally, there will be breakout sessions based on neutron scattering techniques to discuss the status of electrochemistry in neutron scattering and how ORNL may benefit by accommodating the needs of this growing community.
