The ORNL-VU collaborative seminar series promotes communication and collaboration between Vanderbilt University and ORNL researchers. This seminar series brings together researchers from VU and ORNL working in diverse scientific disciplines to establish strong partnerships between these two institutions in nanoscience research. In this seminar series, speakers from both institutions will be giving talks on different aspects of material research (synthesis, advanced characterization, and applications), theory, and computing. Every month, we will have one seminar. ORNL and VU will host the speakers every other month. Involvement in this seminar series would benefit from having joint research and even shared proposals between VU and ORNL moving forward, which will help to expand the ORNL scientific user facilities communities.
