Organizers: Thomas Proffen, Yongqiang Cheng and Massimiliano Lupo Pasini
The goal of this workshop is to broaden the understanding what machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) is and how it can be applied to problems related to neutron scattering. AI and ML based tools for neutron scattering experimentation, reduction and analysis are already being developed and will play an increasing role in conducting experiments and extracting scientific knowledge over the next decade.
The workshop will combine introductory lectures, talks about recent advances in using AI/ML related to analyzing neutron data as well as hands-on activities. Everything one needs to be ready for the future. Participants should bring a laptop.
Registration is limited to 35 attendees.
