 cker\n\nAnalysis of neutron powder diffraction data is an important step i
 n the experimental workflow for many neutron instruments. This analysis is
  currently supported by several software packages\, each with their own st
 rengths and weaknesses. In this community discussion we will identify curr
 ent and near-term priorities for the community of neutron powder users. Th
 e goal will be to use these to complete an extensive gap analysis that wil
 l be used to shape strategies for the next five years. In addition to supp
 orting conventional analyses\, we also believe there is significant scope 
 for acceleration by exploiting available AI and ML and this will form part
