Writing a good proposal is key to obtaining beam time at SNS-HFIR. A proposal writing tutorial will be presented by SNS-HFIR staff, former science reviewers, and members of SHUG. It will cover the requirements and template for writing excellent proposals for the ORNL Neutron Sciences biannual proposal calls.

This particular tutorial will use examples from powder diffraction proposals, but they will be discussed in a general manner that will benefit any type of proposal. Registrants will receive a link at the end of the tutorial to the presentation slides and proposal examples from a selection of different instrument proposals.

This Webinar-based tutorial will be broadcast via bluejeans at 1:00 p.m. EDT on August 10.

Please register on this site, by clicking on "Registration". We will send you a calendar invitation and use your registration email to send you a link to the slides at the end of the tutorial.
