Flying to Tallahassee
The Tallahassee Regional Airport (TLH) can be conveniently reached via Atlanta (Delta), Charlotte or Washington DC (US Airways), Miami or Dallas (American Airlines), Tampa or Orlando (Silver Airways). The flights usually become much more expensive as a special event approaches; therefore, plan to book your travel early. The FSU campus or nearby hotels can be reached from the airport by taxi in 10-15 min; a typical fare is ~$20-$25.
Driving to Tallahassee
The closest larger airports are Jacksonville (JAX, ~2.5 hours), Orlando (MCO, ~4 hours), Tampa (TPA, ~4 hours), and Atlanta (ATL, ~4.5 hours). If you are not flying directly to Tallahassee, we advise flying to Jacksonville, as the flights are usually quite affordable, the drive is relatively short and simple (just follow I-10 most of the way), and the airport is much less busy than the other major airports (Atlanta, Orlando, or Tampa).
