Description

Abstract

This presentation is designed to provide a brief overview of one of the most widely used diagnostic radiological imaging agents in nuclear medicine, how it came to become a focus of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and how a domestic, commercial source is within reach as a result of the research efforts by those scientists and engineers charged with such a challenging task. The presentation will also address project development as it relates to the DOE Accelerator Infrastructure for maintaining the Accelerator Safety Envelope (ASE) and Safety Analysis Document (SAD).

Host: Michael Stafford

Speaker: Dr. David Hearnsberger, Argonne National Lab
