Submission deadline
The SHUG and CNMS UEC invite all scientists, researchers, post docs, and graduate/undergraduate/high school students to submit an abstract for the 2025 User Meeting. Abstracts for contributed talks and posters will be accepted until June 30th, 2025 for the following topical areas:
- Hard matter: quantum, electronic, semiconducting materials
- Hard matter: energy materials
- Soft matter: polymers, and complex fluids
- Biology and life sciences
- AI and data science
- Emerging research and multimodal techniques
Poster Size and Orientation:
Posters should be no larger than 33.1 in wide by 46.8 in high
DO NOT EXCEED THIS SIZE. Posters will be pinned to the poster boards. Larger sizes or landscape orientation cannot be accommodated. The poster must be contained on one sheet of paper (not as poster board).
Presenters are responsible for bringing printed posters to the venue (Crowne Plaza). Note: Onsite printing services are not available.
Poster viewing and judging will be Tuesday, August 12, 5:30–7:30 p.m. Presenters are expected to be available during the entire session.
Post docs and graduate/undergraduate/high school students may also elect for their posters to be considered for one of the Best Student Presentation Awards (option must be selected when submitting abstract). Winners will be announced during the Town Hall Meeting on Wednesday.
