This workshop focuses on exploring and discussing techniques for integrating rheology with Small-Angle Neutron Scattering (SANS) measurements. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how neutron experiments can enhance shear science, with an emphasis on practical applications.

The event is an in-person workshop featuring hands-on exploration of experimental tools, along with live demonstrations of neutron instruments and sample environments—experiences that cannot be effectively replicated through virtual formats.

By engaging both new and experienced researchers, the workshop supports the Department of Energy’s mission by strengthening the neutron research user community, fostering collaboration across facilities, and advancing the development and application of Rheo-SANS techniques.
