Innovate started in 2024 at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) to create a “Community of Practice” and encourage discussion across the Department of Energy's National Laboratory complex to share initiatives and ideas in Configuration Management and Systems Engineering. The first 2-day event "Innovate Together" was held in October 2024 at LANL with representatives from LANL, INL, and ORNL. The event included a panel discussion, meeting engineering leadership, site tours, and GREAT local food.
Innovate 2.0 held September 9-10, 2025 is a dynamic workshop focused on early to mid-career engineers from the Department of Energy's National Laboratory complex. It is an engaging experience focused on career development, configuration management, and cutting-edge engineering practices. This workshop aims to foster connections among peers while enhancing your knowledge of engineering practices across various facilities.
