The SNS/HFIR User Office will be hosting a virtual proposal writing webinar on Thursday August 6 from 2-2:45pm (Eastern). This webinar will provide an overview of the submission and review process as well as guidance on how to write a strong proposal. We will also discuss our New User Beamtime Program (NUBe) to provide extra support to new users. This webinar is for new users, students/postdocs who may have participated an experiment but are writing a proposal for the first time, or anyone who may want to brush up on their proposal writing skills. We look forward to having you join us!
Starting at 2:45pm, there will be a virtual Q&A session with staff where you can ask questions related your proposal. There will be staff representing Powder Diffraction, Single Crystal Diffraction, Bio-SANS/biology, Materials Engineering, Imaging, SANS/Spin Echo, Chemical Spectroscopy, Direct Geometry, Triple Axis, and Sample Environments. Here you can ask questions about instrument capabilities, modes of access, sample run times, etc.
You can register for free to attend the proposal writing webinar, Q&A session, or both!
