Travel Information

The Oak Ridge National Laboratory is located in Roane County, Tennessee, about 7 miles from the center of the city of Oak Ridge and 25 miles from the McGhee Tyson Airport near Knoxville. Other major airports that service the Knoxville area are Nashville International Airport (160 miles) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (210 miles).

A few rooms have been reserved at a group rate for participants of the workshop at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Oak Ridge. If you get a message that the group block is sold-out, please contact Leah Broussard (broussardlj@ornl.gov), as it may be possible to expand the block.

A discounted room rate of $94/night is available for FPSTS 2019 participants.
