About the workshop

Neutron scattering plays a fundamental role in investigating the structure and dynamics of quantum materials. Nevertheless, a comprehensive grasp of these materials often necessitates a multi-faceted approach. The workshop's primary goal is to foster collaboration within the scientific community, facilitating mutual education among practitioners of different techniques. This will result in a deeper understanding of each technique's strengths, weaknesses, limitations, recent advancements, and future directions. Furthermore, it may serve as a wellspring of inspiration for the development of new instruments and creative applications for existing neutron devices.

There is no registration fee. Registration closes on May 13, 2024. We will accept 50 participants. Acceptance to the workshop is based on information provided when registering. Those accepted are expected to arrange for their own travel and accommodation.

Lunch is provided.

The conference venue will be Building 8600, Room C-156, at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Oak Ridge, Tennessee, 37830, USA.
