ISDSB Neutron Protein Crystallography Workshop
August 6, 2016
The construction of MaNDi and IMAGINE at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) provide new and exciting opportunities for Neutron Macromolecular Crystallography (NMC) to become a more routine and essential structural tool for enzymology and structural biology. An important function of the workshop will be to introduce current and future MNC users to the new beamlines at ORNL and provide lectures and practical instruction on neutron structure refinement using PHENIX. Users are welcome to bring their own data or use a test data set which will be provided. More information can be found here.
Workshop participants are encouraged to download and install the following programs before the start of the workshop

Small Angle Neutron Scattering Workshop
August 6, 2016
This workshop will combine lectures and tutorials to introduce basic SAS techniques and related computational tools to integrate molecular simulations with SAS. Targeted Audience: Structural biologists and biophysicists who are familiar with other high-resolution techniques. More information can be found here.
All participants are asked to bring their personal laptop to participate in the modeling tutorials. No previous experience on molecular simulation is required, but it will be helpful if the participants have installed the following software:
