Welcoming all returning, new, and future facility users! 
The CNMS and the User Executive Committee (UEC) are pleased to announce the 2023 CNMS User Meeting will be held in person from August 7-11, 2023. Please join us in person at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Knoxville for the opportunity to highlight research areas and exchange ideas -- bringing together leading researchers, junior scientists, postdocs, and students.

  • User Group Town-Hall Meeting with the CNMS UEC: provides opportunities for the user community at large to provide additional input on facility operations that affect users.
  • Poster Session: students, postdocs, and users are encouraged to participate and present the results of their research and share their experiences at the user facilities. Poster presented by graduate and undergraduate students will also be eligible to compete for the Best Student Presentation award given at the town hall meetings. 
  • CNMS Tour - A bus will be available on Wednesday afternoon to transport participants from the Crown Plaza to the CNMS and back following the conclusion of the meeting for a tour of the CNMS.  Sign up is required and should be done at the time of registration.

 

 


The CNMS user facility is supported by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Science to provide specialized instrumentation and expertise to researchers from universities, national laboratories, and industry that enables them to conduct forefront research that would otherwise not be possible with resources at their home institutions.
