The CNMS Outstanding Staff Member Award recognizes individuals who consistently exceed the expectations of their position and go above and beyond the normal job requirements. Recipients of this award have made important and significant contributions in their area and demonstrate a strong commitment to the CNMS's mission and core values.
In addition, the award acknowledges those who consistently demonstrate a strong ability and willingness to work positively, respectfully, and effectively with others. They have significantly improved facility user service or increased user satisfaction in their area and show exceptional ability to manage changes in work priorities, procedures, and organization. Recipients also exhibit exceptional ability to foster collaboration, communication, and cooperation among colleagues and members of the CNMS community.
Finally, the award recognizes those who have significantly improved a work process or system, or have increased the efficiency of an operation at the CNMS. They consistently seek to improve the quality of work assigned and demonstrate efforts to expand work responsibilities. Their significant improvements in user services or enhanced user satisfaction make them deserving of this award.
To nominate an individual for the CNMS Outstanding Staff Member Award, submit a written nomination that includes specific examples and anecdotes of how the nominee meets the criteria for the award. This could include instances of how they consistently exceeded expectations, made significant contributions to their area, demonstrated strong collaboration skills, and/or improved work processes/systems. Be sure to provide specific details and examples that highlight their exceptional performance.
