The Oak Ridge National Laboratory is located about 7 miles from the center of the city of Oak Ridge and 25 miles from the McGhee Tyson Airport near Knoxville. Other major airports that service the Knoxville area are Nashville International Airport (160 miles) and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (210 miles).

Meeting Locations, Oak Ridge Campus
The EPICS Collaboration Meeting on Tuesday to Thursday will take place in the Visitor's Center of the ORNL main campus, building 5200, which also includes the cafeteria. The meetings rooms are on the second floor, on top of the cafeteria.
The EPICS Training as well as workgroup satellite meetings on Monday and the SNS Tour on Friday will take place at the SNS site in building 8600.

Oak Ridge Hotels
Rooms have been reserved at the following two hotels for the EPICS meeting as well as the workgroups, and a bus service will be offered to transfer you from the hotel to the EPICS meeting and back on Monday to Friday.
You are strongly encouraged to use these hotels, or at least take the bus leaving from these hotels to the EPICS meeting to simplify access to the laboratory, reducing the wait time at the laboratory gate and the difficulties with finding a parking place for your car.

ORNL Guest House
You might also consider the ORNL Guest House, which is located on the ORNL campus next to SNS. The guest house offers a smoke and alcohol free environment. The Guest House does not serve families (spouses and children). Service animals will be allowed. A visitor’s pass is required to enter ORNL and stay at the Guest House.
